- Scope and ContentCornelius Sharpe: saw Cavanagh in Church Street, Dunstable and went into the Church yard to watch him. 2 minutes later he witnessed him come out of the door of a passage leading to Richard Howes kitchen, and run away. He stopped him and found the shoes, which he claimed where his own. Cavanagh then confessed to taking them as he had none of his own. Richard Mobley: had cleaned the shoes for his master Richard Howes and placed them in the kitchen. He was able to identify the shoes as that of his master.
