- Scope and ContentAbout 33 years of age. Born in Little Stukely, County of Huntingdon. In October 1813 she was married at Little Stukely to her now husband John Hawkins whom she has heard declare that his legal settlement is in the parish of Ramsey, County of Huntingdon. Her husband has at different times received relief of the Overseers of the Poor of Ramsey up to the last winter. She has three children by her husband namely Charles aged eight, Mary Ann aged five and an unbaptised female infant aged six weeks. Her husband deserted her on the 29th October and she has not heard from him since nor knows where he is. Charles Hawkins, brother of John Hawkins and knows that John hired himself by the year at Michaelmas 1810 to John Sanders of Ramsey, brickmaker until Michaelmas 1811. Then let himself to George Morris of Ramsey, brickmaker by the year and he served him as such for 3 or 4 years. His brother John has told him thathe had received relief from Ramsey particularly in the last year from Mr Edward Baines the Overseer.
