Examination of Thomas Teedon of St Paul Bedford, charged with stealing potatoes from Thomas Shelton

Mr Shelton's horse keeper Mothers said as he was digging potatoes that he could have as many as he liked and he would bring a sack to put them in. He went to the potato pit with him on other nights but not that last night. Mothers helped load the potatoes they had been digging and held the sack while he and William Ames put the potatoes in
