- Scope and ContentSusan Gailor: gave the statement from her bed. She stated she received the bruises from John Jeffries who worked on the railroad. She met him at Beeston Feast. He charged her with giving him a bad disease. He hit her on the side of the head, and knocked her down, kicking her in the side and belly. She was concerned she would no longer walk again, and feared for her baby. She stated she now wished to sleep as she believed she should not sleep many more times.
