  • Scope and Content
    Married at Ripingale on 21 October 1809 to her late husband George Bland who was then settled in that parish. He had obtained such settlement by hiring and service with Mr Baker Franks, a farmer there, as a servant in husbandry for three years previous to their marriage. She was delivered of her daughter Sarah 18 August 1812. Her husband George Bland died 4 June 1813 having continued his last settlement in the same parish up to the time of his death. She married her present husband Jonathan Brown 12 Nov 1818 at Ripingale. Her daughter Sarah Bland has lived with her ever since her birth. Sarah Bland is now ill and chargable to the parish of St Peter, Bedford. She received 18 pence about three years ago from the parish officers of Ripengale for the said child for about four months.
