    Has been told she was born in St Pauls where her father had settlement. Now about 22 years of age. Father died about four years ago at St Paul, Bedford.In summer 1815 she was bound apprentice by the Bedford Charity to William Green of St Giles, Northampton, shoemaker for the term of five years. Indenture of apprenticeship were signed. My brother, the said William Green, has one of the Indentures, Mr Whitehouse, the Clerk of the trustees has the other. After about 2 months of the apprenticeship she ran away. it was a cold frosty morning when she left at about 7 o clock. it was still dark. William Green on his oath saith Frances Green was my apprentice. During the time she served me I removed from St Giles to St Seulchre on 29 Oct 1815 and she served me as apprentice there from that day until the 18 Dec following, when she ran away and has never served me since. In consequence of the examination of William Green before Dr Hunt orders of removal were made out for Frances Green to the parish of St Sepulchre, Northampton.
