About 22 years of age. Born at St Paul, Bedford where his parents lived and belonged. At the age of 14 was placed out apprentice by the Harpur Charity to Samuel Allison of Clifton, blacksmith for seven years but in consequence of his Master failing in business about two years afterwards he was turned over to Benjamin Brown of Clifton, blacksmith, where he remained for the remainder of his apprenticeship. Since worked for himself at Campton. Married this morning at St Paul, Bedford to Hannah Pratt.
