Scope and Content
About 23 years of age. Born in Diss, Norfolk where his father resided and belonged. When he was about 14 he was placed out apprentice by his father to William Sayer of Diss, cabinet maker by Indenture dated 10 Jan 1814 for seven years. He served four years and a half when his Master died and his Mistress gave him his Indentures. He has ever since worked as a jouneyman. Married this morning at St Paul, Bedford to Sarah Hinde.
