19 years old. Born in Harrold where his father John Brooks, matmaker then resided, but thinks he then belonged to the parish of Sherrington in the County of Bucks. About three years ago his father engaged to teach him mat making and has given him his board and a certain sum weekly ever since. His father has rented a house from George Livius in St Mary, Bedford from Michaelmas 1819 at the rent of £43 a year and he has lived with him there. Married on 22 May at St Paul, Bedford, to Elizabeth Covington.
