Admission of Herbert Fordham in trust for self and E K Fordham, £465. On surrender of James Brown. Newly erected tenement (built on site of two cottages) now occupied as a beerhouse by James Brown, on the green in the village of Dunton, formerly in the occupation of William Brown the elder and then James Brown. Thatched tenement lately in the occupation of John Gale, late David Masters the younger and then William Chamberlain and now untenanted. Clay bat built and slated tenement (recently erected by William Brown the elder, with barn) in the occupation of Stephen Cartwright, to which James Brown was admitted at court held 2 February 1871. Enclosed: copy probate of Simeon Lee, 21 April 1875, and copy will of Henry Turney.
