John V’s last Half at Harrow. Journey to North. Nephew John and John IV at Cambridge fixing rooms, etc. for John V. Mr Jones spent the evening with them. Called on Doctor Chevalier and Mr Craven. Doctor “but poorly”. Birds and cash sent. John IV will be at Finningley. Mr Sparhawke dined with them at Cambridge. King [George III] very ill. Mr Markham away. Cousin John does his Sunday duty. Letter from John V’s sister in London. Difficulties in “the north”. Gregory [the doctor see letter 24 May 1786d] dined here yesterday
