Scope and Content
About 30 years of age. Born at Biddenham where his father John Burton resided and belonged. When he was 16 he let himself to Mr William Muffin of Great Staughton, Huntingdon, farmer, for a year as a shepherd at the wages of five pounds. Lived there the whole year and received the whole of his wages. He has served in the 14th Regiment of Foot and in the Bedfordshire Militia for about 7 years. Was married last Thursday at Biddenham to Elizabeth Triplow.
