    “Dowager Lady Winchilsea’s letter:- When Lord Winchilsea was so very ill, Richard suggested verbally to Mr. Sambrook, Lord Winchilsea’s friend and editor of “the Cable” that a short appeal for united prayer on Lord Winchilsea’s behalf should be inserted in the newspaper, but added that it should not be done without permission of the family. He forgot to say that he did not wish own name mentioned. Mr. Sambrook consulted Lady Winchilsea, Dowager and she wrote the enclosed kind letter which I unfortunately destroyed by accident.” from Lady Winchilsea, 6 Bedford Square, London to Richard sorry letter could not be included in Cable.
