- Scope and ContentJames Huckle, age 33 - felony and embezzlement, 12 months imprisonment with hard labour, the last 14 days to be in solitary confinement. David Sturges, age 16 - simple larceny, 6 months imprisonment with hard labour, last 14 days of the 3rd and 6th months to be in solitary confinement, private whipping. James Rutherford, age 24, Charles Clarke, age 21, and James Cope, age 25 - simple larceny, 6 months imprisonment with hard labour. Samuel Harris, age 40 and William Summerfield, age 32 - simple larceny, one month imprisonment with hard labour. Thomas Brown the younger - assault, one month imprisonment in the Common Gaol. William Cooper and Thomas Waldock - riot and assault on a constable in the execution of his office, William Cooper to pay fine of £5 and Thomas Waldeck to pay fine of £10. Both to be imprisoned in the Common Gaol until their fines paid. Both to be bound over in sum of £20 with one surety in the sum of £20 to keep the peace for 12 months. Thomas Buckingham, age 22 - for lack of sureties to keep the peace towards his mother Jemima Buckingham to be imprisoned in the Common Gaol until bound over for £50 with two sureties for £20 to keep the peace for 12 months. William Wand, age 18, and William Wand the younger - acquitted of simple larceny and discharged. William Wells, age 33 - committed for lack of sureties to appear at Quarter Sessions. Discharged as no person appeared against him. William Bettles, Thomas Mardling, and Joseph Read - bailed to appear at this Session. Discharged as no person appeared against them.
