- Scope and ContentTwenty two years of age. Born at St Paul where his father William Allison resided and belonged. At 14 he was placed out apprentice by the Harpur’s Charity by Indenture dated 11 July 1811 for seven years to Abraham Tyso of Turvey, shoemaker. Lived with his master for about two years and a half when having an injured hand which disabled him from working at the trade his master gave up this Examinant and he has ever since worked as a labourer in Bedford residing with his mother in St Paul. Married last Sunday at St Paul, Bedford to Ann Goodman.
