About 23 years of age. Born in Chicheley where his father resided and belonged. His father taught him the trade of tailor at Chicheley. About Easter 1815 he engaged himself with Joseph Green of St Mary, Bedford, tailor to work as journeyman for a year and a quarter for which he was to be paid £12. He lived with his Master the whole of that time and received the whole of his wages. Since worked as a journeyman with Mr Green until he died about 6 months ago. Married yesterday at St Paul, Bedford to Sarah Wilshere.
