Placed out apprentice by his friends by Indenture dated 27 Oct 1807 to William Cumberland of St Mary, Bedford, cordwainer for five years. He served the whole of his time. He engaged himself in February 1814 to be a keeper in the Lunatic Asylum in St Mary, Bedford at the wages of 15 guineas and he continued there until about 3 weeks ago. Married last Monday at St Paul, Bedford to Maria Hine.
