- Scope and ContentEliza Steers: Elizabeth Odell had previously borrowed 2 loaves from her. After Faulkener's cart had left, Odell returned the 2 loaves to her. She set these of the stairs and returned to mending her husbands jacket. Emma Odell was with her. She told her husband nothing of this until Faulkener threatened to search their house. Elizabeth Odell: did not steal the bread and was not near the cart. She went to her sisters to ask for the sixpence she owed the baker.
