Elizabeth Odell, left the house as he entered. He later saw Odell and Steers at the cart removing bread. Steers had it hidden in her apron. They went to Steers house. He reported this to John Faulkener and then William Faulkener. John Faulkener: went with Lines and a cart of bread to the house of Elizabeth Odell. Odell said she wanted 5 loaves and a quartern of flour so Faulkener and Lines carried this into the house. Odell was nursing a child, she gave the child to another and left the house. Lines returned to the cart and saw Odell steal the bread. When asked, she denied it. Faulkener returned later with his father. After much discussion the bread was returned. William Faulkener: went with his son to Odell's and Streer's houses to retreive the stolen bread. After originally denying having the bread, the bread was returned.
