  • Scope and Content
Susan Carter - Henry Robinson lodged at her house for about 5 weeks during May and June. One Monday morning in June she saw him go out of the door with a parcel under his arm. She missed her money and pork and followed him. On Sunday evening the money had been safe in a tin cup in her cupboard downstairs and the pork had been on the meat board in the dairy. She did not catch the prisoner and had not seen him since. Mary Horrell - went to Susan Carter's house one Monday morning in June and saw Robinson inside the house standing up against the house door with a teacup in his hand and saw him take some half pence out of the tea cup. She asked if he was going to leave and he said yes. He took up a bundle wrapped in a shirt and went out with it.
