- Scope and ContentJeremiah Lee - A quantity of clothing and other articles (listed), value about £1 went missing at his house. His wife found a stud and a brooch in a drawer that she had left in a lower drawer when she went to church on Sunday, which led her to suspect that the servant girl Sarah Medlock had been ransacking the drawers while the family were at church. John Lee - Was present when his mother mentioned to his father that various articles were missing and told him her suspicions about the servant girl. She sent him to the garret to see whether he could find anything in the girl's room, where he found the articles between the feather bed and the mattress.
