    Joseph Wiggins: was sent by Master Harradine to prepare the yard at Radwell on Monday 23 October, where he spotted a sack of about a bushel and a half of wheat hidden by one of the horse cribs. He left it where it was, but told his master. Samuel Swannell: when working with Charles Orpin Corstin at Master Harradines barns in Radwell, he saw Corstin at one of the horse cribs covering up a sack. He advised Oliver Drage, Mr Harradine's foreman. James Harradine: having been advised by Jospeh Wiggins about the sack of wheat by the horse crib, he watched the premises for 3 nights. The sack had gone on Thursday morning. When Corstin arrived at work he accused him of the theft. He went with Corstin to the barn he occupied and the sack was returned. Harradine identified the wheat as his. William Green, police constable: Corstin was taken into custody at Felmersham. Corstin said he had takent the sack from under the horse crib on Thursday morning. Charles Orpin Corstin: "Can I get off with paying?"
