  • Scope and Content
About 5 weeks ago on a Saturday he saw a stack of grass hay standing on his land at Stonhill Close, Tempsford. On the next day at 4pm Mr Norman Miller came to him at Southill with information that caused him to go to Stonhill Close where he saw that part of the rick had been burnt since he saw it the day before. The fire was out and about 12 out of 20 tons remained unburnt. Stonhill Close is on the south side of the road from Blunham to Tempsford. The rick stood within 10 yards of the road, and the Close is about thirty poles from the Great North Road. The gate leading into the close is within a few yards of the rick.
