He died on 14 January 1880. Will proved 24 March 1880 consideration - £1150, out of which £350 will be paid to i) - “The Crown” beer house etc. now in occupation of William Pritzler Newland, in Goldington - blacksmith’s shop and premises late in occupation of Samuel Reynolds - 8 cottages, in Goldington in occupations of Robert Arnold, Charles Brace, William Gaunt, Samuel Marshall, Abraham Maskell, Mrs.Watts, Benjamin Franklin and -. N.and E. formerly Joseph Parker and others, now of James Flood S. Bedford to St.Neot’s highway, with a frontage of 125 ft W. accommodation road, formerly part of Goldington Green, with frontage of 54 ft - Felts Close (1 acre 1 rood 8 perches) also land awarded to Samuel Reynolds upon the enclosure of Goldington with plan signature i) and ii) endorsed receipts witnesses Thomas William Webb, solicitor, Bedford William Douglas Salter, his clerk
