i) John Brown, Kent Street, Southwark, Surrey, custom house officer ii) Lebeus Eastwell, Bedford, innholder consideration - £21 and £14 paid to i) by ii) i) agrees with ii) that he will, before 20 May next, execute such assurances in law as ii) or learned Counsel shall require, i.e. one fine of premises (as under) to be levied by i) and wife Sarah, before end of next Easter term, at cost of i), and such other conveyances as shall be thought necessary, at cost of ii) - Cottage in Goldington (as SL1/334) i) also agrees that ii) shall receive the ½ years rent due at Lady Day last If title of i) to said premises shall not be approved of by ii), then this agreement to be void and £21 to be paid back with interest ii) on making of the fine, will pay £14 signatures both witnesses Thomas Barkar Jonathan Marsh receipt
