- Scope and ContentDeed to Lead to the Uses of a Fine Parties: (i) Edward Woodcock of Inner Temple, London, gentleman and Elizabeth his wife; (ii) Thurston Blackman of Cliffords Inn, London, gentleman Operative Part: - (i) covenanted with (ii) to levy a fine sur conizance de droit come ceo etc. on (a)-(j) to (ii) to act as trustee Property: (a) farmhouse called Saint Leonard’s Farm, Bedford, Saint John’s in the occupation of Thomas Stratton; (b) 3 closes of adjoining pasture containing ten acres; (c) 7 acres of every years land called Pillcroffts; (d) 10 acres in Fenlake Mead; (e) 6 acres in Kempston East Mead; (f) 3 roods of meadow in Longholme, Goldington; (g) close of pasture called Jewells, Bedford; (h) 4 acres of arable in Muslefield near (a); (i) 132 acres or arable in the fields of Bedford, Cardington, Goldington and Elstow; (a)-(i) formerly in the occupation of Simon Beckett, then Henry Shepherd, then Edward Edwards, now Thomas Stratton (j) Saint Leonard’s Fair, held annually on 6th November Witnesses: - Ann Smith, servant to Edward Woodcock; - Thomas Batt, servant to Edward Woodcock; - W.
