    i) Robert Faulconer of Goldington but now residing at Albert Street, Victoria Square , Middlesex, esq. ii)William Kenworthy Browne, Goldington, esquire iii) Robert Elliott, Tempsford Hall, esquire Recites: - Lease and release of 25/26 Oct 1837 involving James Western and Rev Strickland Charles Edward Neville Rolfe of the 1st part, Strickland Charles Edward Neville rolfe of the 2nd part, George Stone, Henry Stone, John Martin, George Stone the younger and James Martine bankers and copartner of the 3rd part, John Parlmer gent of the 4th part, Charles Short surgeon and Benjamin Jeffries farmer of the 5th part and Robert Faulconer of the 6th part and wherein the property in the first and second schedule was conveyed to Robert Faulconer subject to the payment of an annuity of £135 to Eliza Palmer for her life by the last will of her father George Palmer, late of Goldington, deceased and also of a legacy of £2,700 pounds in the case of Eliza's death without issue (which happened) to his other children. - Lease and release of 7 Oct 1846 expressed to be made between Benjamin Jefferies of the 1st part, John Palmer William Higgins corn dealer and his wife Lucy, Charles Porter malster and Sophia his wife, Robert Sharpe innkeeper and Caroline his wife and Thomas Oliver Beale gent and Georgiana his wife of the 2nd part and the said Robert Faulconer of the 3rd part. Eliza Palmer died 17 June 1846 making the legacy payable in five equal shares to the only other children (as in 2nd parties) of George Palmer. This was paid and they released Robert Faulconer. - indenture of mortgage 9 Oct 1846 between Robert Faulkner and Charles James Lord Bishop of London Edward Bishop of Durham and Charles Richard Bishop of Winchester in consideration of £6,000 paid to Robert Faulkner propety in scedules 1 and 2 to secure payment with interest. The principal sum still owing to bishops but interest paid up to 9 Oct last. - Enclosure of land in Goldington now pending. NOW ii) has contracted with i) to purchase property in 1st two schedules, subject to said mortgage and quit rent of £1.12.5 , for £7,900, making with said mortgage the sum of £13,900 iii) has since contracted with ii) for purchase of property in 1st schedule and to the payment of the mortgage sum, for £6200, making with said mortgage - £12,200. The parties have therefore agreed that ii) shall pay to i) - £1700, and iii) shall pay to i)- £6200 iii) has paid £6,200 to i) and now i) grants to iii) all property in the 1st schedule. - allotments and exchanges that shall be made under the inclosure - all other freehold messuages of i) except those in 2nd schedule , subject to payment of mortgage debt and quit rents. iii) undertakes to pay the mortgage. 1st schedule - old enclosures (23 acres 2 roods 13 perches) - open and common field lands --- In Church Field (36 acres 1 rood 28 perches) --- In Windmill Field (66 acres 1 rood 14 perches) ---In River Field (30 acres 17 perches) - 3 cottage rights of common all formerly in occupation of William Hall, senior, and William Hall, junior, and now of Ulysses Pain 2nd schedule - capital messuage or farm, once in occupation of John Davis, esquire, late of George Palmer, deceased, afterwards of John Palmer, then of William Hall, senior and junior, since of Robert Faulconer and now divided into 2 and in occupation of ii) and Ulysses Pain – that in occupation of ii) having lately been occupied by Lord Francis Russell (1 acre 1rood 7 perches) - Dove house adjoining now called Rickyard Close (1 acre 35 perches) - closes pasture (4 acres 31 perches, 3acres 30 perches), now in one close called Home Close, part heretofore called Church Close, and part “Rolts”. - pieces arable in common fields --- In Church Field ----- 38 lands in Church Hill Furlong and Cricket Furlong (9 acres 5 perches) ----- 24 lands in Green Ditch Furlong (9 acres 2 perches) ----- 31 lands in Haylands Furlong (7 acres 3 roods 37 perches) all formerly in occupation of William Hall, senior and junior, and now of ii) and Ulysses Pain - all other lands of i) in said furlongs - 7 cottages in Goldington, in occupation of William Wagstaffe, William Tomkins, William Waller, John Smith and Nathaniel Denton, and 2 others of William Day and William Wagstaffe and now of Richard Marshall and William Walker - orchard adjoining called Blacksmith’s Pightle (2 roods 18 perches) now in occupation of Thomas Hill all bounded N.
