    William Johnson to Messrs. Bullivant and Atterbury recites: Will of Daniel Richardson whereas: William Johnson and Benjamin Tomlinson (2 of legatees) have agreed to purchase the Goldington property : after payments of debts, funeral expenses and legacy (among others) to William Johnson, the residue of the estate is not sufficient to discharge other legacy of £200, and whereas William Johnson is also entitled to a proportion of the monies arising from the personal estate of the testator now William Johnson (to avoid litigation) had agreed to abate a proportion of his legacy of £200 and his share of monies arising from the personal estate acknowledges receipt of : £253 8s 1½d i.e. £150. 0s 6¼d (share of £200) £ 53. 7s 7¼d (share of personal estate) £ 50 (legacy) signature, William Johnson witnesses, William Mieres William Wilkins
