(Edward Parry and Elizabeth Kneebone are great nephew and niece and heirs at law of Elizabeth Rice, deceased) iv) James Brooke, Dorchester, Dorset, gentleman v) George Rice, Newtown, Carmarthen, esquire, (devisee of personal estate and sole executor of Elizabeth Rice) vi) George Vaughan, St.Clement Danes, Middlesex, laceman vii) Grace Throckmorton, St.George, Hanover Square, Middlesex, widow, devisee of real and personal estate and sole executor of Albion Throckmorton, deceased viii) Susannah Huske, Hemingford Abbbots, widow John Perkins, Huntingdon and wife Mary Samuel Walker, St.Paul’s Churchyard, London, woollen draper, and wife Elizabeth (late Elizabeth Throckmorton) (Susannah Huske, Mary Perkins and Elizabeth Walker are the sisters and heirs at law of Albion Throckmorton) ix) Silvester Addington, Goldington, gentleman x) Joseph Addington, St.Margaret’s, Westminster, Middlesex recites: indenture of 2 August 1745 between Albion Throckmorton and Henry Hawkins, Albion Throckmorton, in consideration of £200, mortgaged, by demise for 1000 years, (inter alia) lands in Goldington hereafter mentioned : lease and release of 1 and 2 September 1746 (mentioned in SL1/168 and 169) : SL1/168 and 169 : SL1/170 : SL1/171 and 172 whereas: Elizabeth Rice by her will gave personal estate to George Rice, who therefore became entitled to said £3100 : Mortgage of 29 July 1748 between Albion Throckmorton and George Vaughan of the Goldington premises to secure £66 : Articles of agreement of 15 December 1750 between Albion Throckmorton and Silvester Addington by which Throckmorton in consideration of £100 and £2600 agreed to be paid by Silvester Addington, agreed to convey Goldington premises to him : Albion Throckmorton died on 25 December 1750. By will made 7 December 1750 devised to wife all estate upon trust to sell etc. (except gold ring apiece to uncle Robert Throckmorton and wife and 3 sisters). Residue to wife : Decree or Decretal in Chancery, 23 July 1752, in cause in which Henry Hawkins was plaintiff and vii), ii) and Susannah Huske and John Perkins and wife Mary, Elizabeth Walker, v) and others were defendants, it was (inter alia) ordered that it should be referred to one of the Masters of the Court to take account of what was due to several incumbrances on estates of Albion Throckmorton, and to tax them their costs, and by consent of mortgagees, was ordered that several estates be sold and money used to discharge mortgagees according to their several priorities. Surplus to be paid into Bank to credit of said Court etc. : Henry Hawkins died and by will gave estate to wife Mary. Said suit and proceedings being abated by his death, wife exhibited her Bill of Revivor in said Court and suit revived by order of 20 February 1753 : By Order of Court of 7 August 1754 ix) allowed to be purchaser of said property and to pay £2600 into Bank. (money paid 20 August) : Report confirmed by Orders of 24 October and 29 November 1794 now, in consideration of said money etc. i) and ii) convey to x) in trust for ix), to attend the inheritance of the premises - messuage in Goldington, with appurtenances also iii), iv), v), vi) and vii) ratifies to x) - Berry farm, with barns, dovehouse etc. in Goldington - pieces land belonging in Goldington in occupation of Silvester Addington, i.e. … arable ….. 30 acres 2 roods in River Field ….. 30 acres in Windmill Field ….. 31 acres in Church Field ….. 8 acres in Home Close … meadow ….. 13 acres 1 rood in Newills Meadow ….. 5 acres – pieces in East Meadow - Parsley Spinney or Hoes Spinney (8 acres) … pasture ….. Parsley Close (9 acres) ….. Great Close (9 acres) …..
