John Elliman, Thomas Elliman, James Willsher, Jesse Vintiner, George Bryant, of Warden, labourers .…. they were all employed by order of Major Frank Shuttleworth on 24 January 1896 from 6a.m.to 6.p.m. at various gates on private roads on Old Warden estate herinafter mentioned with instructions to keep to various gates locked and not allow anyone to pass through unless going on business to Old Warden Estate Each mentioned separately the people who came to the gates They all declared that no one claimed a right to go through or that there was any public right of way signatures of each Declaration made at Biggleswade before Francis Pym, J.P.
