John Clare also held 1 messuage in High Street and yard leading from west end of said messuage into Cauldwell Street, late estate of William Yeomans: will of John Clare, 19 February 1763, devising 6 messuages, orchard and wharfs to son-in-law Thomas Harrison for life, remainder to daughter Elizabeth, residue of estates to son Thomas: property devised to Thomas and Elizabeth Harrison was vested in John Day; messuage in High Street vested in William Berrill by grant from Thomas Clare junior.
