    Conveyance i) Henry Morgan Vane, Whitehall, Westminster, esquire (The Official Trustee of Charity Lands) ii) Reverend John Gerrard Andrewes Baker, the vicar Matthew Reynolds, Park Farm, Old Warden, farmer Joshua John Malden, Hill, farmer (churchwardens for the timebeing of Old Warden) Samuel Charles Whitbread, Southill Park, esquire George Davies George Whitbread Baker, farmers James Dillamore Joshua Daniels John Hart, blacksmith said Matthew Reynolds George Woodward, farmer all of Old Warden Charles Heading, Roxton, farmer William Heading, Morhanger, farmer (trustees of the Old Warden Charity Estate and Edward Peake’s Charity, in Old Warden) iii) Joseph Shuttleworth, Old Warden, esquire whereas: by an order of the Board of Charity Commissioners for England and Wales of 13 August 1875, ii) were appointed trustees of said Charity, and legal estate was vested in Official Trustee : By another order of 13 June 1876 said Trustees were authorised to sell hereditaments (as described below) for not less than £600. The Official Trustee to concur in conveyance if purchaser so requires now, for consideration of £700, ii), with concurrence of i) coveys to iii) - 1 acre 0 roods 7 perches on S. side of village street of Old Warden with 3 cottages standing thereon now divided into and occupied as 5 tenements - house formerly used as a workhouse but now occupied as 5 tenements - building on S.E. side thereof for many years used as a parish schoolroom signature i), ii) except Headings witnesses George M.Reynolds Henry Howard Batten
