Mortgage in fee i) Robert Henley, Lord Ongley ii) Jervoise Clarke Jervoise, Idsworth Park, Southampton, esquire John Abel Smith, Belgrave Square, Middlesex, esquire Nathaniel Weekes, Leamington, Warwickshire, esquire Edward Marjoribanks, junior, The Strand, Westminster, esquire whereas: i) is seized and well entitled to hereditaments hereinafter described free from encumbrances except mortgages of 28 April 1837, and further charges of 9 Mar 1843, 19 May 1847 and 10 Mar 1848, on which the principal sum of £38,000 is now due and owing : i) has requested ii) to lend him £7000 at 4% per annum interest which they have agreed to do upon having payment secured as before - property as in SL1/46 and 47 repayments and schedule as before total rent now £2858 signature i) endorsed receipt witnesses Robert Lindsell William Elliott Oliver
