-letter to Education Department from Bedford and District Welfare Service for the Mentally Handicapped, regarding Pembroke Club; -correspondence regarding proposed activity day for handicapped young people, including the following activities: archery; air-rifle shooting; mini-tennis and uni-hoc, to be run by team of full-time Youth Workers, from Mid-Bedfordshire; to be held at Shefford Youth Club; -letter from Area Youth Officer to the warden, Bedfordshire Cheshire Homes, regarding activity day, stating “it is hoped we can learn from this experience and that permanent links can be forged with Handicapped young people in Mid-Bedfordshire to enable them to enjoy facilities available at their local Youth Club”
