- assignment of 18 July 1893 by James Ward Maxwell assigning all his real and personal estate to (i) as trustee for the benefit of his creditors;
- (ii) had agreed to take (a)-(b) in part satisfaction of the debt of £1,113/2/9

(b) land on Aspley Heath with a frontage to the road from Woburn Sands to Little Brickhill of 75 feet and a depth of 166 feet bounded: SW by land of Frederick Croxhall Boultbee; part SE by land of Frederick Croxhall Boultbee; part SE by a sand pit; NE by land formerly of James Ward Maxwell, now of Rev. Joshua Murgatroyd; NW by the road
