- Scope and Content… to Edward Deane and Stephen Darby, in trust - 2 freehold messuages, in Cookham interest to be paid to wife, Elizabeth Reed after mother’s death, one cottage each to daughters Elizabeth and Harriet Reed, and their children if both daughters died after 21, then to son, Thomas Reed - leasehold messuage rents to be paid to wife, for life, then to son, Thomas Reed … to wife, Elizabeth Reed - household goods etc wife to carry on business of plumber and glazier until son, Thomas Reed, is 21, when they are to continue it jointly … to trustees - stock in trade for wife’s use, until son is 21 if unable to carry on business jointly, then wife to carry it on without son stock in trade to go to son after mother’s death - personal estate to convert into money and pay interest to wife, then to children. To receive money at 21 or after death of mother (if this occurs after they reach 21) trustees and wife appointed executors will dated 29 June 1812 probate (PCC) 'sworn under four hundred and fifty pounds' 20 March 1815
