    Abstract of Title of Richard Key to a close of 3 acres, 2 roods and adjoining enclosure of 1 acre, 1 rood, 16 poles in Aspley Guise (I) Will of Francis Moore of 16 February 1809: - devising all real estate to his son-in-law Thomas Paget, Rev. Edward Tanqueray and his sister Ann Moore to the uses following: - to the use of his son John Patrick Moore for life; - to the use of the trustees during the life of John Patrick Moore in trust to preserve contingent remainders; - to the use of George Griffith and Charles Savage for 200 years upon trusts, in case John Vaux Moore survive his father, to find £2,000 to be divided equally between testator’s granddaughters Frances Moore and Elizabeth Moore, daughters of John Patrick Moore - to the use of his grandson John Vaux Moore, eldest son of his son John Patrick Moore, and his heirs; - appointing Thomas Page, Edward Tanqueray and Ann Moore executors and executrix; - will proved in PCC on 6 August 1810 (II) Certificate of contract for redemption of Land tax of 9 July 1803 by Francis Moore of Eggington for £8/4/8 charged on a messuage, four cottages and 130 acres of land in Aspley Guise, proprietors being John Patrick Moore, M. J. P. Moore and including The Bell public house, proprietor Richard Randall (III) Bargain and Sale of 18 January 1822 Parties (i) John Patrick Moore; (ii) Rev. John Vaux Moore, only son of (i); (iii) William Gillam Saunders White; (iv) Thomas Oldham Reciting: - (II) above; - (ii) wished to suffer a common recovery of (a) in order to bar the estate tail in remainder limited to him by the will Operative Part: - to bar the entail and for 10/- paid by (iii) to (i), (ii) bargained and sold (a)-(d) to (iii) Property: (a) arable land called Woodpiece in Aspley Guise bounded: SW by a garden of Richard How, deceased; NW by a way leading from Aspley Guise to Hogstye End, Wavendon; NE by the coachway to Aspley Woods; SE by Aspley Woods; (b) common of waste ground in Aspley Guise bounded: SW by the coachway to Aspley Woods; N land late of Robert Sawell, then Francis Moore; S by Aspley Woods; E by Great Woodpiece; (c) parcel of arable in Aspley Guise called Great Woodpiece bounded: S by Aspley Woods; NE by the village of Aspley Guise; E by the Common Hills; NW by (b); (d) piece of common or waste land in Aspley Guise bounded by the road from Aspley Guise to Woburn; E by lands late of Robert Sawell, then Francis Moore; NE by land of Talbot Williamson; W by Great Woodpiece (a)-(d) contained 63 acres conveyed in exchange by Richard Vernon Sadlier to Francis Moore on 3 February 1789 The land had previously been described as: (a) arable and a plantation called Woodpiece containing 9 acres in the occupation of John Patrick Moore; (b) piece of arable lying on NE and undivided from (a) containing 3 acres in the occupation of John Patrick Moore; (c) woodland called Bakers Piece on W side of (a)-(b) and containing 12 acres Declaration that it was lawful for (iv) to Sue forth out of Court of Chancery a writ sur diseizin.
