Scope and Content
She knew Thomas Attlee of Westoning, farmer, and wife Sarah (formerly Sarah Hillyard). Their first child was born on 5 October 1823 and baptised at Westoning as Harriett Attlee. Said Thomas Attlee and Sarah Hillyard were married at St. Leonard’s Shoreditch, Middlesex, on 28 March 1828. Said Harriett Hillyard Attlee died at Westoning on 24 October 1844 and was buried in Westoning churchyard. There were two children of said Thomas and Sarah born in wedlock - Mary Ann Attlee born on 9 October 1828, who died on 29 December 1844 and Thomas Attlee who was born on 27 February 1835 and is still living. Thomas Attlee and wife Sarah are both dead - he died on 6 November 1844 and she died on 1 March 1835, and were buried in Westoning Churchyard.
