to Mary, his dear and loving wife -- cottage and tenement in Greenfield, Pulloxhill, in the occupation of Jeremiah Sharpe for life and after her death, to Leman Abbott, son of Joseph Abbott of Millbrook, husbandman to sister, Mary Newman -- £5 to sister, Lidia, wife of John Spufford of Millbrook -- £5 to sister, Susannah Leman -- £5 to Elizabeth Carter, wife of John Carter, junior, of Ampthill -- 10 shillings to Thomas Spufford, son of said John Spufford -- One guinea all said legacies to be paid within one year of his decease out of personal estate to Joseph Abbott of Millbrook -- suit of clothes ‘that is my best Excepting one suit’. If he dies before testator, then said suit of clothes to go to his children to said wife, Mary -- rest and residue of goods, personal estate etc. Said wife Mary made sole executrix Will proved at Bedford
