    Typescript copy indenture Parties: (i) William Pollard of Hertford, shopkeeper; Joseph Sharples of Hitchin [Hertfordshire], banker; Henry Brown of Luton, merchant; William Lucas the younger of Hitchin, brewer; (ii) Dykes Alexander of Ipswich [Suffolk], esquire; Richard Dykes Alexander of Ipswich, esquire Reciting: - indenture of 9 February 1833 between Elizabeth Johnson of Ipswich, spinster and (ii) in which it was agreed that (ii) should act as trustees for money to pay the profits to Elizabeth Johnson until her death when £500 should be paid to four people nominated by the Bedfordshire Quarterly Meeting as trustees, the income to be divided between five Hertfordshire Quakers annually; - the Quarterly Meeting appointed (i) to be trustees on 23 September 1835; - Elizabeth Johnson’s estate was insufficient to pay £500 to (i), £300 being paid instead; - (i) invested the £300, minus expenses, in £325/2/10 capital stock of 3% annuities of 1726 Operative Part: - (i) acquitted (ii) of the money paid to them in trust; - (i) declared that the £325/2/10 capital stock of 3% annuities of 1726 stood for the £500 in the agreement of 9 February 1833
