Letter from Evelyn Chaldecott, sent from Kasauli. News of children. Gives Gilbert’s daily activities. “We have just heard that the Grands Hotel here has been put out of bounds for officers to stay at because the kitchens were so horrible”. Longing for house of our own again after six months in boarding houses. Very hot now and Willie finds travelling very trying. Describes social life.
