i) Ambrose Cooke ii) Hugh Dawborn iii) William Cooper, Gravenhurst, yeoman. Reciting previous mortgages and further securities and mentioning that Kath Dawborn is now deceased. There is now due and owing from Hugh Dawborn to Ambrose Cooke the sum of £223 6s. William Cooper has agreed to lend this sum to pay off Ambrose Cooke and also to lend a further £16 14s. Now in consid of £240 paid by William Cooper to Ambrose Cooke and Hugh Dawborn i) at request of ii) transfers to iii) - cottages and land (X291/284). Interest 5% p.a.
