Letter to Litchfield Northern of The Anchor, Great Barford, from Edward Thurlow Leeds Smith of Sandy, solicitor “Mr Jarvis on completion of the purchase of “The Anchor” and premises at Great Barford has paid to the Vendors £20.16.8 less Tax, being the proportion of the current year’s Rent now due from you, the rent being taken as £25. I therefore authorize and request you to pay such amount to Mr. Jarvis instead of to the Executors of Mr. R. A. Jefferies” “P. S.
