Eva May Swaffield was the daughter of Benjamin George and Elizabeth Ann Swaffield. She was born 1881 at Maulden, died and was buried at Ampthill. She was known by her niece and great nephews as 'Poker' because of her determined curiosity over their activities and those of others.
