(ii) Persiana Moxon, late of St. Clement Danes, Middlesex but now of Bedford, spinster (iii) Rebecca Marryat of St. Clement Danes, Middlesex widow Thomas Bithray of Town of Bedford, merchant. Charles Bithray is seised of reversion on death of Elizabeth Bithreay of Bedford, widow of premises first hereafter mentioned Persiana Moxon is seised of certain messuages and lands and also considerable personal estate. First -- Manor of Carlton called Stokes’s -- manor house in Carlton formerly in the occupation of Gideon Fisher, gentleman deceased -- New Close (pasture) 7 acres in Carlton near said messuage -- Mowing Close, 7 acres in Carlton near said messuage -- close of pasture called Palmers 5 acres in Carlton near said messuage -- 2 cottages in Carlton near said messuage in the occupation of Richard Green and Thomas Harper -- 2 roods meadow ground in Carlton in a place called Wigney Meadow -- 3 acres arable in Hillfield in the occupation of Richard Green and Thomas Harper to uses . . . . Second -- messuage called the Marsh House and new barn belonging to east of Old Barn now belonging to Persiana Moxon with appurtenances -- Marshes as follows: Marsh (F) 10 acres 3 roods 27 perches :north part of Marsh (E) also belonging to Persiana Moxon Marsh (K) except part whereon Old Barn, stable and pound stand also belonging to Persiana Moxon :north Marshes (G) and (H) Marsh (L) 2 acres 2 roods 10 perches :north Marsh (G) Marsh (M) 13 acres 24 perches :north Marsh (F) Marsh (N) 16 acres 36 perches :north Marsh (K) Marsh (O) 13 acres 21 perches :north Marsh (M) all in Cliffe in Kent and are part of farm in the occupation of Thomas Gunnings -- also free use of a way to said marshes through Marshes (R) and (P) belonging to Richard Warren and Mary his late wife -- messuage in Cliffe in the occupation of John Savell, butcher, with stable, yard, Little Close and garden, formerly called Cherry Garden or Cherry Orchard 1½ acres -- piece of marsh land in Cliffe 2½ acres in the occupation of said John Savell :north marsh in the occupation of Thomas Pearce :south marsh in the occupation of Guy Warwick :east marsh in the occupation of Thomas Collier :west marsh in the occupation of Thomas Morley -- parcel of arable in Cliffe Field called the Walnutt Tree Piece 1½ acres :west way from Cliffe Street to the Mill :east way from Read Street to Perry Hill :north land of Jethro Barton :south land of Jacob Harvey -- buildings called the Granary, Cowhouse and Fodderhouse in the yard of William Peters which said premises were lately divided from three other parts of a manor called Deane Fee and other premises late part of the estate of Joseph Collett deceased in Cliffe and Higham, Kent and were allotted to John Sawbridge Little and wife Elizabeth to hold in severalty by judgement on a writ of partition in which John Sawbridge Little and wife were plaintiffs and Edward Leeds and wife Ann defendants; premises to allotted were by Lease and Release 10 and 11 April 1734 and fine pursuant to that, conveyed to said Edward Leeds. -- Salt Marsh next River Thames called (A) 9 acres 3 roods 1 perch and the sea wall parting the said salt marsh from the fresh marsh (V) 1 acre 14 perches -- Marsh (B) 9 acres 1 rood 5 perches :north part of said salt marsh -- Marsh (C) 5 acres 10 perches :north part of said salt marsh -- Marsh (D) 1 rood 20 perches :north part of said salt marsh -- Marsh (E) 15 acres 37 perches :north marshes (C) and (D) -- Marsh (G) 11 acres 3 roods 11 perches :north marshes (B) and (E) -- Marsh (H) 5 acres 2 roods 7 perches :north marsh (P) -- Marsh (J) 11 acres 26 perches :east marsh (H) -- Old Barn, stable and pound and part of field before mentioned called K which is marked off with stakes and ought to be fenced off -- use of way through marshes R.
