    Agreement 1. Leighton Buzzard Co-operative Society 2. Elizabeth Ann Janes, 1, Hockliffe Street, Leighton Buzzard 1 to lease the house to 2 for seven years on the following terms: that the lease may be terminated by either party at five or seven years providing six months notice is given by either side that 2 pays to 1 £16 per annum, the rent to be paid quarterly the lease to commence on 25 March 1903 and the first instalment of rent to be paid on 24 June 1903, and on each succeeding Quarter Day. The house consists of the whole premises occupied by 2. with the exception of the stable, coach house and outbuildings, 1 agrees to her having the use of the outbuildings in the further yard until a wall is built which is to separate the property occupied by Messrs. Roberts and Willson of Ivinghoe and the part which will be taken for the use of 1. After the building of the wall 1. to provide 2. with a place for storing coal if possible adjoining her premises. 2. to have the right to use the water closet and pump at the bottom of the first yard, and the right to use the water closet if it is ever moved from its present position. She is also to have a right of way through the gateway to her back door. 1. agrees to do all the structural alterations and repairs to the outside of the property, while 2 agrees to do all inside repairs, such as painting, paper-hanging and whitewashing &c.
