[i] William Woolhead and wife Mary [ii] Thomas Arnald -- premises as V439, late in the occupation of said William Woolhead the father repayment £120 plus interest not paid. Indenture of Mortgage. 25 March 1662 (i) William Woolhead Thomas Arnald (ii) Thomas Arnald then deceased [i.e. 1684/5] father of said Thomas Arnald demise for 1,000 years subject to equity of redemption by said William Woolhead on payment of £400 plus interest whereas: Thomas Arnald by will bequeathed interest in premises to William Arnald one of the sons of said Thomas Arnald party to the said Indenture. Thomas Arnald, party to the said Indenture by Lease and Release 21 September 1666 for consideration of £418 conveyed the said premises to John Pemberton the father whereas: by Decree in Chancery 30 April 1669, John Pemberton senior was ordered to pay John Woolhead, Mathew Woolhead, Henry Woolhead, Robert Harvey and wife Alice £100 chargeable on the premises and £16 interest. and said John Pemberton senior was to have 40 shillings towards his own charges whereas: there remained due on said recited Indentures and decree to executors of John Pemberton senior £540 Thomas Arnald and wife, John, Mathew and Henry Woolhead senior and William Harvey (at request of Henry Woolhead, John Pemberton the son and said George Goodman) and said John Pemberton the son John Pitt and George Swinehoe (at request of George Goodman, and Henry Woolhead son of William Woolhead) in consideration of £540 paid to them by said George Goodman and Henry Woolhead the son and in consideration of £110 secured to be paid by said George Goodman, release the aforesaid premises to William Farrer and Thomas Chapman. recites: Indenture 14 February 1684. Conveyance. (i) Henry Woolhead, citizen and plumber of London, son and heir of William Woolhead then late of Marston Mortaine, yeoman deceased John, Mathew and Henry Woolhead uncles of said Henry Woolhead William Harvey son of Robert Harvey then deceased (ii) George Goodman William Farrer Thomas Chapman consideration: £50 -- cottage in Marston Mortaine formerly in the occupation of John Loxly, late John Gunhill to hold in trust for Goodman now: competent sum paid to Richard Chapman 5 shillings to William Farrer and Thomas Chapman paid by William Pryor. release aforesaid premises to William Pryor.
