consideration: £900 -- messuage or farm in Marston Mortaine in the occupation of Mathew Woolhead -- cottage and pightle in the occupation of John Gunhill, in Marston -- cottage and appurtenances formerly in the occupation of John Purton, now - - - - in Marston -- close of pasture formerly in the occupation of Robert Wharton, now - - - - in Marston -- all other lands of Richard Chapman in Marston, Wooton, Kempston, Houghton and Cranfield. receipt endorsed for £600 of the consideration remainder to be paid before 25 March next so that Roger Chapman, father of Richard Chapman (party hereto) who has a mortgage of the premises shall convey before that date, his interest in the estate to William Pryor and William Farrer, Elizabeth Goodman widow and Everard Goodman gentleman shall execute several conveyances now prepared. Roger Chapman promises to assign premises as William Pryor shall direct if he pays the above mentioned £300 by aforesaid date 24 April 1701 receipt from Roger Chapman for the £300 and has assigned the premises as agreed.
