    (i) Sarah How of Woburn, widow and relict and executrix of will of Briggins How of Woburn, draper, deceased William Joyce How of Woburn, eldest son and heir of said Briggins How and Sarah (ii) Richard How of Aspley Guise gentleman surviving trustee of marriage settlement of Briggins and Sarah How, Thomas How of Rochester, Kent, draper, Susannah How of Woburn aforesaid spinster, Elizabeth How of Woburn aforesaid spinster, Richard Camps of Woburn aforesaid draper and wife Merciana (said Thomas, Susannah, Elizabeth, and Merciana are the younger children of said Briggins How by Sarah), John Grant of Leighton Buzzard, grocer, George Exton of Ampthill, grocer, the two other executors of the will of said Briggins How (iii) Reverend Daniel Shipton of Husborne Crawley, clerk recites: V353- V356, V358 whereas: said Briggins How by will 29 January 1768 [see V394] bequeathed all his personal estate to wife and children and by will and two codicils appointed executors as above mentioned. Briggins How since deceased; Sarah How alone proved will in Prerogative Court of Canterbury recites; V359-361 whereas: Reverend Daniel Shipton has agreed for purchase of premises now: consideration: £1,121 following freehold premises: -- close arable, formerly ley or sward in Aspley Guise 5 acres 6 perches : Mill Pond : road from Aspley Guise to Turnpike road (pencil note in margin: Burroughs Piece) -- close of pasture formerly arable in Aspley Guise adjoining last mentioned close, called Fulbrooke 9 acres 4 perches -- close of pasture formerly arable in Aspley Guise adjoining last mentioned close, called Spring Close 4 acres 20 perches all which premises last mentioned are in the occupation of Michael Hutton further, assign estate in following premises: -- messuage with yards, garden and stables in Aspley Guise, formerly known as the Thatch’d Inn, now the New Inn, fronting the turnpike road leading from Woburn to Newport Pagnall -- parcel of sward adjoining said messuage on part of which said messuage was built, of which the said yards and garden were formerly part lying in the parish of Aspley Guise, 5 acres 2 roods 33 perches -- well or spring in Wavendon with right of access -- all other leasehold premises assigned to William Joyce and Richard How by V354-V356.
