-- enclosing all the lists – Mr. Samwill’s, Mr. Shipton’s, ‘my own, with particular state of this Hundred is making out and I intend sending it to you tomorrow. I have sent to quicken Lord Pomfret’s, the Duke of Grafton’s and Lord Strafford’s stewards ...... inclosed I likewise send you a copy of a curious affidavit made before Mr. Medlycot which is a pretty strong proof of what some of the Party are. I believe you were right in the motive of the journey to Town ..... Pray take care of Mr. Wingfield collector of Excise at Windsor, and Mr. Lafield Excise officer at Oakham’. Horton
